How Much Garden Materials will you need?

Garden soil, mulch and gravel are generally applied at a 3-inch depth. For every square foot you want to cover, you’ll require ¼ cubic foot of product. River rock is generally installed at a minimum of 4-inches, depending on the installation. Use our

Peat Loam Installation

Screened peat loam is very nutritious for garden beds,  encouraging plant growth. Peat loam is naturally decomposed organic matter that is a combination of plant, animal, and mineral materials. Commonly used as garden mulch for its ability to hold nutrients, peat loam can vary in texture from sandy to stringy to mushy.

MULCH INSTALLATION

Mulch is a great way to enhance the look of your gardens while keeping weeds at a minimum. It conserves soil moisture, moderates soil temperature, helps prevent soil erosion, and gives your gardens a neat appearance.  As the seasons change, the mulch stabilizes temperature and moisture, and prevents sunlight from supporting germinated weed seed and acts as a barrier between new seeds and the underlying soil.

River Rock Installation

This popular stone is available in 4 different bulk sizes. The dominant colours are white, red and black. The stone is naturally rounded from glacial “river washing” over thousands of years. This colorful combination lends itself well to any environment and provides a natural, long lasting alternative to mulch.
